Pacifico Golf Course, Punta Mita: Jack Nicklaus and the Tail of the Whale
The course
Pacifico is one of Punta Mita's two Nicklaus Signature courses, which together offer 12 ocean-side holes and views of the Pacific and Banderas Bay. Tees run from 5,037 to 7,014 yards.
The Tail of the Whale
The Tail of the Whale is an optional par three of 194 yards on a natural island green, reached by an amphibious cart when the tide allows. It is the hole most people picture when they think of Punta Mita.

Access
The Punta Mita Golf Club is open to Club Punta Mita members and their guests and to guests of the Four Seasons and St. Regis. Public access is limited to events. Villa guests inside the gates can usually arrange tee times through their stay, so ask Costa which membership your home includes.
