Costa · Local guide to the Mexican Pacific coast · Updated October 2026
Bahia is Punta Mita's second Jack Nicklaus Signature course, opened in late 2008. It plays 5,080 to 7,035 yards, has six ocean holes and is more undulating than Pacifico.

The course

Bahia climbs the bay side of the peninsula, with more elevation than Pacifico and varied putting surfaces. Tees run from 5,080 to 7,035 yards, and six holes play along the ocean.

Access

As with Pacifico, the Punta Mita Golf Club is open to Club Punta Mita members and their guests, and to guests of the Four Seasons and St. Regis. Public access is limited to events. Villa guests inside the gates can usually arrange tee times through their stay.

Homes by the Bahia fairways

7 Eight Bahia Golf Residences overlook the 7th and 8th holes, though those homes are being built and are not yet rentals. For available golf homes today, see golf villas in Punta Mita.

Choosing between the two

Pacifico has the Tail of the Whale. Bahia is the hillier, more varied round. Most visitors play both. See the Pacifico guide.
