Punta Mita for Weddings and Celebrations

Costa · Local guide to the Mexican Pacific coast · Updated October 2026
A large Punta Mita villa can host a milestone birthday, a family reunion or a small wedding party, with everyone under one roof and a chef for meals. Estate-scale villas in La Punta Estates and large homes in Kupuri and Hacienda de Mita are the usual starting points. Before booking, confirm the events rules, maximum occupancy, noise limits, vendor access and any extra staffing.

Where large homes are

La Punta Estates is a collection of estate-scale villas built for large groups, several with nine or more bedrooms. Hacienda de Mita includes a nine-bedroom villa near the golf course. Kupuri has large custom homes and a grand beach club.

Smaller celebrations

For a birthday dinner, an anniversary or a vow renewal, a villa with a chef, a terrace and a view often does the job. The Four Seasons and St. Regis restaurants will also seat outside guests.

Who this is not for

If you need a large formal venue for many guests, a dedicated events venue may suit you better than a private villa. Ask about limits before you plan.

Tell Costa your dates, group size and must-haves in the chat, and we will send the current collection that fits.
