The Four Seasons states about 45 minutes by car from Puerto Vallarta airport to the resort. Other sources describe 45 minutes to an hour, and arrival-day traffic, the road through Bucerias and any construction can add time. Allow an hour and you will rarely be surprised. Taxi, private transfer or rental car
A private transfer that meets your flight is the simplest option, especially after a long day of travel. Hotels such as the Four Seasons arrange transfers through trusted partners, and I can arrange one for your villa. Airport taxis work too, but pricing and waiting are less predictable. Renting a car makes sense mainly if you plan day trips to Sayulita, San Pancho or Puerto Vallarta on your own schedule.
Do you need a car once you are there?
